New Promotions in Administration

We have made a number of promotions within our teams and are delighted to share one of them with you!

Congratulations to Lowri Drury from our Caerphilly Office, who has been promoted to Head of Administration (South).

We asked Lowri about her new position and the experience she brings to it:

“With over 15 years of experience in Building Control, I have progressed from an administrative role to my current position as Head of Administration (South). The opportunities I’ve been presented with since joining Assent have been career defining , allowing me to advance from Office Manager to a Head of Administration (South) within just two years. I am deeply grateful for the mentoring and support I’ve received from my line manager and my peers, I’m also fortunate to work with a team that inspires me to do better every day.

I studied Business Management in University so this was always a career path I wanted to explore. The structure and routine that comes with working in administration is suited to my skill set. In my new role, I am particularly excited about the opportunity to collaborate more closely with other functions and to gain a deeper understanding of various aspects of the business.

I take great pride in the work that my team and I have accomplished. Despite the challenges of the past 12 months, we have approached them with resilience, open-mindedness, and patience. As I step into my new role, my primary focus will be on streamlining our processes, empowering my team with additional support, continuous training, and enhanced career progression opportunities.

In this era of significant industry change and the ever changing landscape of Building Control, upskilling and collaboration within our function and across the broader business is how we get ahead and I’m excited to be part of it.
